Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister is a man who doesn't need any introduction. The leading man of Motörhead literally equals rock 'n' roll. Lemmy is a living icon – a comic book character and the indisputable god of heavy music. Boots, mustache, leather, bullets, whisky and the infamous wart – those are the everlasting ingredients that heavy metal has conquered the world with.
Greg Olliver and Wes Orshoski made a huge favor for the metal fans all over the world when they directed a documentary about Lemmy Kilmister. Lemmy is a tribute to the biggest hero of the rock 'n' roll world. The directors follow Lemmy around in his everyday life, which consists of cooking, band practice with Dave Grohl and shopping for a tank. Lemmy’s life is just as legendarily excessive as it is imagined to be. The leading man himself almost seems to just wander around by himself in the midst of these unbelievable events, yawning and wondering his surroundings. Lemmy isn’t high culture, its pure rock 'n' roll!
