North of the Sun is an impressive documentary film for all surf-lovers. Two friends find a perfect excluded beach in Northern Norway. The youth spend the winter by the beach, living on nature’s provisions and surfing whenever possible. This film, filled with wilderness exotics, is filmed at one of the rarest and most beautiful surfing locations.
North of the Sun offers breathtakingly rugged scenery and true desert island romantics. Camera flies near the waves and at times rises over the cliffs on board a hang glider. Besides surfing, the film follows the friends’ survival struggle in their surfing paradise during the freezing Norwegian winter. North of the Sun is truly an extreme break-away from the rat race of everyday life!
