Just because I pack a pussy doesn’t mean I’m stupid!

League of Exotique Dancers takes the audience on a rampant and honest journey to the world of burlesque and striptease. The stars of the documentary are dancers who began their careers in the 50s, 60s and 70s, and helped pave the way for later generations.

Burlesque Hall of Fame is a museum in Las Vegas celebrating the golden years and iconic stars of the American burlesque. It also hosts the annual Legends of Burlesque show, where the veteran performers have an opportunity to refresh their skills on stage, tease the audience, and show the younger dancers how it's really done. These ladies know how to charm and seduce, but also give the expectations of society and men the finger. In burlesque, all styles and bodies are equally welcome.

The glamour often associated with burlesque also has its flipside: many stars battled with drugs and personal tragedies in their heyday. The 80s saw the golden age of porn, and it seemed that the era of tease was over. However, in recent years burlesque has made a fabulous comeback. Take your tassels along and let Marinka, Gina Bon Bon, Kitten Natividad among others teach you a lesson or two about sexuality, equality, attitude and life.
