What fascinates in monsters?

When you see Sir Christopher Lee, which movie character comes to mind first? Dracula, 007’s The Man With The Golden Gun, Saruman from Lord of the Rings or maybe Count Dooku in Star Wars? Lee holds the world record for most screen performances by an actor (almost 300) while working  for example with Orson Welles, Martin Scorsese, Tim Burton and Steven Spielberg.

Beyond his legendary presence as an actor, Lee's personal life is a story in its own right. He was also so much more. Aristocrat, Pilot, War Hero, Spy, Nazi Hunter, Opera Singer, Knife Thrower, Traveller - and then he became a Film Star. Lover, Sportsman, Family Man, and even Heavy Metal Singer.

Documentary takes the audience on a wild Munchausian journey across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and, of course, Hollywood as Sir Christopher returns from the grave to tell his own improbable, extraordinary, fascinating and often hilarious life story.
