Emotionally powerful, cleverly humorous and exquisitely animated, the film also features a standout soundtrack – with Finnish sound mixer Mikko Raita contributing to its rich sonic world. In its native Latvia, Flow has become the most-watched film in the nation’s history. It's especially well-suited for audiences of all languages and cultures, as it features no human characters or dialogue, only the language of animals. Even the meows and purrs of the feline protagonist were borrowed from sound designer Gurwal Coïc-Gallas’s own cat.
