Could this be the most anticipated comeback of the century? With the original director and cast returning, Spinal Tap II: The End Continues hardly needs an introduction – but here’s one anyway.
More than 40 years after the cult classic This Is Spinal Tap, the sequel follows the legendary band as they reunite for one final show, having long since stepped away from the spotlight. Expect the classic hits (including Big Bottom and Stonehenge), brand-new tracks, and a gloriously over-the-top stage show. The film’s real power lies in its unapologetic nostalgia and a lineup of charismatic guest stars – including none other than Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John.
Even if you’re new to the phenomenon that is Spinal Tap, this is an experience worth witnessing. The devotion of the original film’s die-hard fans will be almost tangible in every screening. After all… these go to 11!
