HP Baxxter, the eccentric frontman of 90s techno legend Scooter, hangs around in his mansion with nothing to do, the Covid pandemic has interrupted all work. With gigs cancelled and studio dates postponed, the millionaire musician known as a party animal is bored. There is also an existential crisis: how could one reform but remain the same at the same time?
Director Cordula Kablitz-Post teamed up with Scooter for two and a half years, and former members, fans and close friends have also been able to get in front of the camera. There is a lot of juicy archival material and live recordings, which ensures that there is enough techno beat. Whatever happens in the world, the party goes on and Scooter will not be silenced!
