A turbulent newsroom drama intimately chronicling the working days of broadcast journalist Ravish Kumar as he navigates a spiraling world of truth and disinformation.
Ravish Kumar is one of the few independent television journalists in India where journalism is no longer completely free, but restricted and controlled. Journalists like Kumar, who hold on to their professional pride and integrity, have always been a major threat to conservative advocates, which also makes their work extremely dangerous.
The film follows veteran journalist Kumar's everyday life as the host of NDTV-chanel. The work is hard, difficult and even dangerous. Stress creates pressure inside the delivery. The expressions on the face of a hardened journalist rarely change, but you may notice a few wrinkles on the forehead increase as the document progresses.
In addition to hot topics in Indian politics, the documentary raises several universal topics like what influence does the media and the degradation of journalism have on the rise of extreme nationalism.
